Dear Authors,

The Editorial Board of the journal Regulatory Research and Medicine Evaluation announces the annual “Article of the Year” competition. The competition aims to identify, support, and publicly recognize authors who have made a significant contribution to the development, expert evaluation, and production of medicinal products, as well as to the advancement of regulatory science and practice.

Competition Categories

The competition is held in three categories:

• Best Original Research
• Best Analytical Review / Methodological Article
• Best Article on Regulatory Aspects of the Development, Registration, and Circulation of Medicinal Products

Participation Conditions

Participation is automatic; the jury will consider all articles published in the print issues of the journal in 2026. Priority is given to articles selected under the “Editor’s Choice” policy.

Article Evaluation Criteria

• Scientific novelty and relevance
• Methodological rigor, validity, and reproducibility of results
• Practical significance for regulatory practice, expert evaluation of medicinal products, or the healthcare system
• Quality of the article structure, clarity of presentation, compliance with ethical requirements and standards of scientific publication
• Level of discussion and citation potential

Winner Awarding

The results of the competition will be announced in the first quarter of 2027, with subsequent posting of information about the winners on the website of the journal Regulatory Research and Medicine Evaluation and publication in the next print issue.

Diplomas for the competition laureates in each of the three categories will be awarded to the authors (author teams) at the annual scientific and practical conference “Regulatory Practice and Registration of Medicinal Products”—“RegLek” in April 2027.
