Bulletin of the Scientific Centre for Expert Evaluation of Medicinal Products was established in 1999 by the State Scientific Institution “The Scientific Centre for Expert Evaluation and State Control of Medicinal Products” of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (SSI “SCEESCMP” of the Ministry of Health of Russia). Back then the journal was published under the title: The Bulletin of the Scientific Centre for Expert Evaluation and State Control of Medicinal Products. In 2004 an administrative reform of the federal executive authorities took place, the founder organisation was reorganised, and the title of the journal was changed to the Bulletin of the Scientific Centre for Expert Evaluation of Medicinal Products. The journal was registered by the Russian Federal Surveillance Service for Compliance with the Law in Mass Communications and Cultural Heritage Protection (Certificate No ФС77-21321 dated 14 June 2005). Later it was reregistered by the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology, and Mass Media (Mass Media Registration Certificate No ФС77-44681 dated 21 April 2011, No ФС77-53169 dated 14 March 2013, No ФС77-82931 of 14.03.2022). In 2013 the journal was included in the Russian Science Citation Index. In 2022–2024, the journal was published under the title Bulletin of the Scientific Centre for Expert Evaluation of Medicinal Products. Regulatory Research and Medicine Evaluation. Since May 2024, it has been titled Regulatory Research and Medicine Evaluation.
